25- YEAR- OLD MAN, LAWRENCE MOKWUME WANTED FOR HOMOSEXUALISM

A -25- year old man, Lawrence Mokwume, an indigene of Alidogwu, Igbogili, Abavo, in Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State is currently on the run for the offence of homosexuality and has been declared wanted by the Nigerian Police to face the music.

Meanwhile, the Abavo Police Division has promised to offer a handsome reward to anyone with useful information that would lead to his whereabout and arrest. The police says they were leaving no stone unturned in fishing out Lawrence, stating that homosexualism was a very serious crime against the religious, cultural and constitutional provision of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
 Lawrence Mokwume, who is dark in complexion, speaks Ika-Igbo and English languages. His abominable affair with his gay partner, Ekpenisi Anthony who is now late was uncovered on Sunday, June 21, 2015.

Resumption Date For Primary And Secondary Schools In Delta State

  It is hereby announced for the information of the General Public, particularly Deltans that the State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, has fixed Sunday, September 10, 2017, as the resumption date for pupils and students in public and private Primary and Secondary schools in the State for the 2017/2018 Academic Section. Academic activities begin on Monday September 11, 2017. Accordingly, the State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education has by this announcement advised parents and guardians to ensure that pupils and students return to school on the said date. ASABA THE Divisional Police Officer, DPO in charge of the ‘C’ Division, Asaba, SP Valentine Mbalu has been reportedly killed by his abductors 12 days after he was taken hostage by suspected Fulani herdsmen between Ekwoma and Umunede along the Benin/Asaba/Onitsha expressway. Recall that the unsuspecting Police Officer was abducted at about 4pm on the 5th of this month on his way to Asaba after spending weekend with his family at Agbor. A reliable source who spoke on condition of anonymity, said that the decomposing corpse of the DPO was found in Umunede bush yesterday. He disclosed that one of the suspected kidnappers, a native of Fulani who sells water Mellon at Abraka within the Asaba metropolis has been arrested.
