It should be recalled that in January, 2014, former president of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan signed the same sex marriage (prohibition) Act into law, where lesbian, gay, bi-sexual and transgender suspects face a jail term of 14years, if caught. Following this, the Nigerian Police, Lagos State has declared a certain Johnson Fred, a 19 year old, ‘WANTED’ in connection with a homosexual incident that occurred on the 14th of October, 2015 in Lagos State.

Johnson Fred who hails from Agwu, Enugu State escaped police arrest while his bi-sexual partner, Innocent Obi was shot on his left leg. Our correspondent gathered that their abominable act was revealed to the police by the people in the neighborhood who suspected them to be lovers. However, Innocent Obi who has pleaded guilty disclosed that he is the one who lured Fred into the act.
Meanwhile, the Nigerian law enforcement agents have declared Johnson Fred ‘wanted’ as an accomplice, adding that anyone with useful information on his whereabouts should contact the nearest police station.
