FLAGNEWS UPDATE: PRESIDENT BUHARI RETURNS TODAY



President Muhammadu Buhari returns to the country later today, after receiving medical attention in London.
The President had left the country on May 7, this year, after handing over power to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, who has functioned as Acting President since then.
President Buhari is expected to speak to Nigerians in a broadcast by 7 a.m on Monday, August 21, 2017.
He thanks all Nigerians who have prayed ceaselessly for his recovery and well-being since the beginning of the health challenge.

Resumption Date For Primary And Secondary Schools In Delta State

  It is hereby announced for the information of the General Public, particularly Deltans that the State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, has fixed Sunday, September 10, 2017, as the resumption date for pupils and students in public and private Primary and Secondary schools in the State for the 2017/2018 Academic Section. Academic activities begin on Monday September 11, 2017. Accordingly, the State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education has by this announcement advised parents and guardians to ensure that pupils and students return to school on the said date. It is stressed that students in boarding schools must return to school on Sunday September 10, 2017 as normal class activities will commence the next day.
