THE LATEST WAY BANKS ARE ROBBING US



I tried to make withdrawals via Sterling Bank ATM machine, I punched in 20k. The machine refused to pay me. I was very sure I had far far more than that amount in my account, so it could never be an issue of insufficient fund. I tried the second machine, same thing.
A guy came and he asked if the machines were dispensing, I said I can't withdraw ooo. He slotted his card and he withdrew.

I had to call the attention of the security guy who told me that I can't withdraw more than N10k at once. So, despite the fact that we have options of up to 40k withdrawal on the machine, I was forced to withdraw 10k four times. And I was charged N65 for each withdrawal.

It didn't dawn on me that this people had just cheated me and I never thought of it until I got to another ATM of another bank and the same thing happened.

If that cheating scheme is done on 2000 customers that withdrew 40k today That is N260 x 2000 = N520, 000 x 30 days = N15.6m

Can you imagine that?

Can these banks explain to us why we can't withdraw N40k at once and be charged N65 but they will make us withdraw N10k four times and be charged N260? Why?

Resumption Date For Primary And Secondary Schools In Delta State

  It is hereby announced for the information of the General Public, particularly Deltans that the State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, has fixed Sunday, September 10, 2017, as the resumption date for pupils and students in public and private Primary and Secondary schools in the State for the 2017/2018 Academic Section. Academic activities begin on Monday September 11, 2017. Accordingly, the State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education has by this announcement advised parents and guardians to ensure that pupils and students return to school on the said date. It is stressed that students in boarding schools must return to school on Sunday September 10, 2017 as normal class activities will commence the next day. RIP KIDNAPPED DPO. HE FOUGHT FOR SECURITY OF LIVES AND PROPERTIES OF NIGERIANS. A CREDIT TO HUMANITY

ASABA THE Divisional Police Officer, DPO in charge of the ‘C’ Division, Asaba, SP Valentine Mbalu has been reportedly killed by his abductors 12 days after he was taken hostage by suspected Fulani herdsmen between Ekwoma and Umunede along the Benin/Asaba/Onitsha expressway. Recall that the unsuspecting Police Officer was abducted at about 4pm on the 5th of this month on his way to Asaba after spending weekend with his family at Agbor. A reliable source who spoke on condition of anonymity, said that the decomposing corpse of the DPO was found in Umunede bush yesterday. He disclosed that one of the suspected kidnappers, a native of Fulani who sells water Mellon at Abraka within the Asaba metropolis has been arrested.
