WATSON UZOCHUKWU EMERGES MR. NIGERIA INTERNATIONAL.




Out of 22 contestants, Watson Chinedu Uzochukwu emerged victorious in the "Mr. & Miss Nigeria International pageantry" and was crowned Mr. Nigeria International Top Model 2017 on the 7th of October 2017.

The pageant was put together by Brendance and crusaders limited, The same organization which produced the current Miss International World Classic 2017.

Brendance and Crusaders Limited has been a major team player of some major events which include Mr. and Miss Nigeria International Miss Nigeria (2003-2010), Miss Tourism (2004 -2010), Prettiest girl in Nigeria 2006, Sisi Oge Pride of Africa 2005 - 2013, Mr. and Miss Glo rock and Rule 2008 – 2009, Naija at 50 national fashion show, Abuja carnival 2009, Miss Lagos Carnival 2010, Miss FCT 2010- 2013, Glo pageant festival 2010 till date F.A.M.E concert 2014 .The Younger Judge ever in Abuja National Carnival 2007-2013 among others.

The event which was held at Ruby Gardens Lekki Lagos State, involved the twenty two contestants posing in dresses before fielding questions from the judges.

Based on his passion of being focused and confident, the audience and judges were thrilled also by his style which encompasses his character and aura. Not leaving out his ability to answer surprising questions correctly. The  26-year-old model cum mechanical engineer, received astounding amount of votes and was crowned Mr. Nigeria International Top Model 2017.



In an exclusive Interview with FLAGNEWS NIGERIA, on how he feels, Watson had this to say "I feel very glad to be honoured with the title of Mr. Nigeria International Top Model 2017, because we were 89 contestants but 22 of us made it to the finals. This is my first time of being honoured with a title as this since I became a model although I have not engaged in any pageantry whatsoever, this is my very first competition. So I feel highly elated".

 Watson who is so friendly and being liked by both friends and peer models for his aura, is also full of surprises, seems to be so discreet in his affairs and would always wish to keep his fans and peers in suspense. This was almost manifesting when he was asked to disclose his pet project and areas of priority based on his status. Read what he said.
"Hmmmm my pet project? It's being developed and when it's done, it would be put in the open. I don't want to spill the beans yet. But if you insist on knowing, well, my focus is on alleviating and empowering the less privileged and the youths. I intend to set up a charity foundation to achieve this goal"



 On the journey so far, he remarked thus "I must confess it was really tough as I had no one backing me up. It was a last minute decision to get involved in the pageant but thanks to those around me who made sure I made it to the finals".
 The Mr. Nigeria International Top Model 2017, further appreciated those who in one way or the other contributed immensely to his current status.
"Firstly, I will give glory to God and as well appreciate Ambassador Brendan Nsikak the C.E.O of Brendance and Crusaders, the organizers of "Mr. & Miss Nigeria International" for giving me the opportunity to be able to give back to my society and the world at large. I won't fail to appreciate my family, loved ones and acquaintances for their support in the journey so far. I cant thank you enough, I love you all".
  The Mr. Nigeria International Top Model 2017,  hails from Ikeduru-Mbaitoli Local Government Area of Imo state. He was born in Enugu state but raised in Lagos state. He studied Mechanical Engineering in the Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO) and later proceeded to the prestigious Pan-Atlantic University EDC, where he studied Human/Customer Service Management. He is so qualified to contest on the world stage next year.
