DELTA REP CROWNED MISS NIGERIA INTERNATIONAL PLANET 2017

A pretty young model, Joey Aneyemi (Mobaney), was the contestant who represented Delta state in the Miss Nigeria International Beauty Pageant and emerged "Miss Nigeria International Planet 2017".

The Miss Nigeria International Planet 2017, was produced by Brendance and Crusader Limited which is a fully integrated event management company privately owned by Ambassador Brendan Nsikak and was held at Ruby Gardens, Lekki Lagos State on 7th of October 2017.

Brendance and Crusaders Limited has been a major team player of some major events which include Mr. and Miss Nigeria International Miss Nigeria (2003-2010), Miss Tourism (2004 -2010), Prettiest girl in Nigeria 2006, Sisi Oge Pride of Africa 2005 - 2013, Mr. and Miss Glo rock and Rule 2008 – 2009, Naija at 50 national fashion show, Abuja carnival 2009, Miss Lagos Carnival 2010, Miss FCT 2010- 2013, Glo pageant festival 2010 till date F.A.M.E concert 2014 .The Younger Judge ever in Abuja National Carnival 2007-2013 among others.

The pageant involved twenty four contestants posing in dresses and high heels, before fielding questions from the judges.
Each of the contestants represented their culture in the pageant that was meant to promote the richness of Nigerian culture, the diversity of its people, the beauty and intellect of the Nigerian lady and to promote togetherness and unity among Nigerians in the Diaspora.
  They were tested on intelligence, carriage, beauty, knowledge about Nigeria, the Nigerian culture, and planned contributions to Nigeria through a pet project during their reign.


Based on her resilience, consistence, brilliance, beauty
and ability to answer surprising questions correctly, the focused and enterprising 26-year-old beauty queen, received astounding amount of votes and was crowned Miss Nigeria International Planet 2017.



Joey, who happens to be a quintessence Model and fashionista, a visual artist, due to her passion for Arts and Fashion, is also the Co founder of Mobaney Fashion, a fashion design brand that has gained international recognitions over the years.

In an exclusive Interview with FLAGNEWS NIGERIA, the new Miss Nigeria International Planet 2017 expressed surprise at her emergence, pledging to devote her reign to impacting the lives of the less privileged in Delta state and Nigeria at large.
 She added that she would use her fame to embark on a pet project that would impact on the less privileged back home in Delta state.

  "I feel very honoured  to be Miss Nigeria International Planet. I intend to use this platform to make the world better, starting with those in our rural communities who are voiceless. I will set up a foundation that would work with the government in catering for the less privileged and empowering our people in the area of our ingenious textiles production and fashion. My pet project is all about empowering the less privileged, giving them a chance to better themselves which in turn gives that ripple effect of change. No matter how small that positive change might be, the impact often times, out live generations" She said.


 On the journey so far, she remarked thus "The journey so far as regarding preparation for the pageant was an interesting one. I went for the audition and I was shortlisted to contest for the pageant. I must say Brendance and Crusader limited are top notch in what they do. From the registration day to the grand finale were all experience filled. The early morning workouts, trainings, grooming classes were all wonderful experience. I knew I had been transformed. So I can proudly say I am poise and class personified (laughs)".

 The Miss Nigeria International Planet 2017, further appreciated those who in one way or the other contributed immensely to her fame.
"Firstly, I would want to return all the glory to God for the gift of life. And also Ambassador Brendan Nsikak the CEO of Brendance and Crusader limited, for coming up with this amazing platform, Mr Alexander Akharume the pageant manager and his beautiful team for making the process worthwhile. My fellow Queens and kings and my siblings lovettica and Mrs saliu for their support, love and encouragement. I love you all".

The Miss Nigeia International Planet 2017, hails from Ebu, in Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta state. She was born and raised in Sapele Local Government Area of the state and attended the prestigious Auchi polytechnic Auchi in Edo state, where she studied Arts and Design.


Hopefully, she will go far internationally, especially in the forthcoming Miss World competition.

Agbor Monarch Unleashes Royal Rain On Assembly Hopeful

The Dein of Agbor kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Dr. Benjamin Ikenchukwu Keagborekuzi 1, has given Amb Paul Alika, a Delta House of Assembly aspirant for the Ika South constituency, a royal blessings and a complimentary title to the father Prof. Alika, in his palace at Agbor.  According to the king, the Assembly aspirant had done remarkably well for the kingdom and his community in particular, and as such, he deserved to be given the mandate to represent the good people of Ika south, in the state House of Assembly.  The Dein of Agbor commended the parents Prof and Prof (Mrs.) Alika, for the good upbringing given to their son,  Amb Paul Alika. PDP ANIOCHA NORTH PASSES VOTE OF CONFIDENCE ON OKOWA, OTHERS

The leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, in Aniocha North Local Government Area has passed a vote of confidence on Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa and the Delta state PDP hierarchy.  In a statement signed by the executive of the PDP Aniocha North, the vote of confidence was moved In an enlarged meeting of the PDP Members and Local Government Executive at the Aniocha North Local Government Area Secretariat Issele-Uku Delta State on 13th February, 2018.   Also passed, was a vote of confidence on Barr.
