The life of Hon. Solomon Urhoboyovwe Awhinawhi is a story of enviable impacts, achievements and of flawless reputation.
 As a member of the National Assembly, he has been ranked among the best lawmakers for moving several motions and sponsoring several Bills including:
  I. A bill for an act to amend the National Shipping Policy Act.
      II.  An act to amend the Nigeria Institute of Taxation Act.
    III.  A motion for an Urgent need for the ministry of environment to check the invasion and menace of water hyacinth in water ways and creeks in Ughelli and Udu Federal Constituency of Delta State.
IV. A motion to draw the attention of the House to the plans of the Federal Government on the need to investigate the rusting of 33 Silos, worth 280 billion naira.
 V.  In the 2016 NDDC budget, he facilitated the construction of Orhuwhorun/ Owhrode road in Udu LGA.
  VI.   Construction of internal road at Okwagbe.
    VII.   Construction of street lights at market/Ovie Palace road Agbarho.
  VIII. Construction of Esiso street, Onome Okpalefe, Okun street,  Ekreharwen, Ugwr-Ughelli Road in Agbarho.
IX.   Seasonal intervention Training for 60 youths and women in Ughelli Udu LGAs.

 His office has also attracted the construction of a Primary Health Centre at Ophori Agbarho in Ughelli North LGA and the Rural Electrification Installation of 300 KVA transmission at Iwherenene, among others. A feat many acknowledged as ingenious, legendary and laudable despite the country's economic meltdown. Ahwinawhi's steady progress did not just start today as a lot of people, who knew him a long time ago, would not easily forget how he rode through all his professional and political career.

 Born November 15, 1965,  He attended Otorere Secondary School and obtained West African School Certificate (WASC) in 1987. He studied History at the prestigious University of Lagos and graduated in 2005 with Bachelors of Arts Degree (B.A) in History. After graduation, he became the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Solivad and Associate,  a major player in the Oil and Gas sector/ marine transportation.
  In the year 2007, Solomon Urhoboyovwe Ahwinahwi was elected into the Federal House of Representatives, where he represents the Ughelli/Udu Federal Constituency of Delta State of Nigeria, under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

 He was re-elected in the year 2011 and 2015. His legislative interests border on drafting of bills, motions and active interest in oversight functions. He targets to make laws that will impact positively and bring the much needed development to Nigeria.
  Solomon Urhoboyovwe    Ahwinahwi has bagged several prestigious awards including an Award of Excellence given to him by history students of the University of Lagos and an Award of Exemplary Leadership Quality by the Urhobo Youths Association, among others.

 Hon. Ahwinawhi has displayed high craftsmanship in his work and the evidence of his constructive leadership manifests in his growing political profile.
 Today as the Vice chairman, House committee on Defence, he has made positive impacts in the Country. With his approach to leadership, core progressives have come to believe that our democracy is truly yielding desired results. Here is a man who, on many instances, had demonstrated his love for his constituents, the state and Nigeria, above pecuniary interests and enjoins others to embrace same.
  Looking back the past years, his family and indeed his retinue of associates and admirers do have cause to be grateful to Almighty God for having granted him a life of great accomplishments and abiding fulfillment.

 Ozomo 1 of Agbarho is his traditional title but fondly called Don Chizo, his life and leadership style revolves around is positive outlook to life. His constituents are rightly rich in huge expectations from his represention. This, in all honesty, is not unfounded because of his pedigree and passion for service.

 FLAGNEWS NIGERIA, strongly believe,that those who have encountered Rt. Hon. Solomon Ahwinawhi will testify to all these. Ahwinawhi has been criticized by so many and called all sorts of names by those who don’t even know him or have ideas of his works and contributions in the National Assembly.

 For Ahwinawhi, there is an element of freshness about him even at his present age. Freshness of spirit, freshness of ideas, freshness of vision and mission for him as a person, as a leader and for his office he has superintended for many years. He is unarguably running a dazzling race of his life as a politician, an administrator and a leader. Despite the numerous successes he has recorded in all of his endeavours, he exudes, yet a seeming urgency to reach the finish line in his chase to get his constituents to the Promised Land.

  As an astute politician and lawmaker per excellence, Ahwinawhi sees plenty, even in the face of paucity. It is his rare determination to make the most out of nothing that is why he has been driving all that is needed to ensure Ughelli and Udu grow in leaps and bounds and eventually raise the bar by setting standards for others.

 He also kept the ball rolling by recently providing tricycles, sewing machines and milling machines to over 265 members of his constituency under his Cash Transfer Programme  which he said would capture more youths and women who are engaged in petty trading with financial needs for their businesses.
 Ahwinawhi's scorecard has become a template and a reference point for most of his counterparts today.

This was made possible by his practice of entrenching core values of selflessness and integrity. He has effectively earned the confidence and trust of his friends and foes alike. He has re-defined the concept of leadership and effective represention by effectively re-orientating the mindset of the political class to see politics as a call to service.

 As he marks yet another anniversary of his birthday, his wish from his constituents is prayer for more years of quality service and long life on earth. They should pray for him, pray for Delta state and pray for Nigeria at large.
 As he deservedly celebrates this glorious day, it is our fervent prayer that Almighty God, who has richly prospered him and ordered every of his steps this past years, will continue to bless him with good health and fulfillment in the many more years of worthy service for his people.
