OSHEVIRE TASKS PARTY FAITHFUL ON UNITY
Following the heated controversy and other political issues in some parts of Delta State, as it affects governor Okowa's Aide Rex Ekiugbo and a federal lawmaker in the green chambers, Hon. Solomon Awhinawhi, some political and public affairs analyst have express their viewpoints. Notable among them, was a Media Assistant to the member representing Ughelli North constituency II, in the Delta House of Assembly, Kelly Oshevire.

"My take on the issue pervading the social media between Rex Ekiugbo Anighoro and Hon. Solomon Awhinawhi:
I will try to be simple and straight forward.
Firstly, to look at wrong and call it right is also wrong. What is a party? Why are you members to a party and what code of conduct do you have to put up as a member of a particular political party? Well, one thing I know which answers the questions above is that a true and genuine politician (or political mind) will know better than to continuously slander and criticize a member(s) of his own political party. And in so doing, open up an opportunity for the opposition to ridicule and keep mocking the stupidity of his own actions.
I am an aide to Hon Prince Eric Oharisi, a member and Majority Whip of the 6th Assembly in Delta State, who, as a matter of personal deliberate will, has shown himself to be a trustworthy lawmaker and man of his words, by his many positive actions in service to the people. I am also not a direct aide to the Governor of the State, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa but has always identified with the Governor's sterling performance since his assumption of office. Why then will a member of the PDP (regrettably still a member as I write) try to undermine party ethics and play down party members in public office and positions if not given that there is a bit of 'selfish interest' in the undertone of his actions?
The ANSWER IS CLEAR and so I beg of you to desist from such actions and save the little respect I have for you. This is not to dignify the irresponsibility of your actions but to adequately straighten the steering as you are swerving to a ditch.
Any person that wants to contest for a political office should come out, because it is unreasonable, stupid, and in so many ways childish to slander political office holders of your own party.

And also to set the record straight, I don't have to be a media aide to Hon. Awhinahwi to respond to critics about him, especially the ones from a party member as it may be perceived by the general public that the party is enveloped in continuous disunity and confusion. Lastly, desist from such shameful actions and let us help the PDP become a party of Substance and Unity"
