Delta Police Issues Press Statement On Threats To Shutdown PPMC

RE: THREAT TO SHUT DOWN PIPELINES AND PRODUCTS MARKETING COMPANY (PPMC), WARRI DEPOT, CP ENJOINS PARTIES NOT TO RESORT TO SELF HELP

 The Commissioner of Police, Delta State Command, CP. Zanna M. Ibrahim, psc, has called on marketers and all persons aggrieved over the postponement of IPMAN Warri depot election not to take the laws into their own hands. The CP gave this warning, Sunday, December 3, 2017, following intelligence report that certain persons have threatened to shut down operations at PPMC Warri on 4/112/2017 over the failure to conduct election on the 1stDecember, 2017, and to drive home their demand for a date to be fixed for the election.
 The CP, while noting that the postponement has become necessary in view of the fact that one of the factions to the election did not partake in the screening exercise, calls on all the parties to exercise restraint, more so, since there is a pending suit at the Federal High Court, Warri, filed by one of the factions to the election.
  The CP reiterated his call for restraint and peace as security agencies will deal decisively with any person or group of persons who cause damage to any critical infrastructure or breach of public peace.

Agbor Monarch Unleashes Royal Rain On Assembly Hopeful

The Dein of Agbor kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Dr. Benjamin Ikenchukwu Keagborekuzi 1, has given Amb Paul Alika, a Delta House of Assembly aspirant for the Ika South constituency, a royal blessings and a complimentary title to the father Prof. Alika, in his palace at Agbor.  According to the king, the Assembly aspirant had done remarkably well for the kingdom and his community in particular, and as such, he deserved to be given the mandate to represent the good people of Ika south, in the state House of Assembly.  The Dein of Agbor commended the parents Prof and Prof (Mrs.) Alika, for the good upbringing given to their son,  Amb Paul Alika. Tsunami hits Delta Lawmaker

Possible apprehension was alleged to be gripping the lawmaker representing Aniocha North constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Engr Emeka Nwobi, following news of other prospective aspirants jostling to unseat him in the forth coming Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) primaries later in the year. Emeka Nwobi, who was alleged to have stolen the mandate legitimately won by  Uzoma Idabor (aka UZ), in the PDP primaries of 2014, is so tensed and agitated over the looming realization that he would be defeated in his bid for a second term, following the revelation of what he did to UZ as well as his poor performance in the House as Lawmaker.
