OJOUGBOH SPITS FIRE ON OKOWA, CANVASSES VOTES FOR APC
The former national deputy chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) in the Sheriff's faction, now APC stalwart, Dr Cairo Ojougboh, says the governor of Delta state, Ifeanyi Okowa, will retire in 2019 due to what he described as 'high level of corruption in government House Asaba'.
Speaking at Owa Alero, Okowa's hometown and Ward, where he led a campaign train to canvass votes for the APC, the battle ready Ojougboh said " I am not surprised with this crowd here to support us because everybody wants to change okowa. If they ask okowa to do road, pay pensioners, do budget, supply water, he says ego aria (no money). The federal govt gave him money to pay salaries he stole it. The Paris club money, he stole it. He now said he will not do budget so that he can be stealing our money smartly. All he is thinking of is how to buy conscience after stealing your money. Look at your wonderful faces but APC has said no more police or army will accompany rigging. We will equip you because its a battle. The principle of APC is service to mankind and humanity. Come 2019 I assure you we will retire okowa".
In an impressive blaze of colour, Dr. Cairo Ojougboh again switched on the political campaign light of the APC across Delta State with thousands of party faithful gathering to receive him at Owerre Olubor, Ekwoma, Akumazi, Ibusa and Asaba.
In Asaba, over 4,620 PDP members decamped to the APC including the leaders and members of the Oshimili South Political Movement (OSPM).
