PDP ANIOCHA NORTH PASSES VOTE OF CONFIDENCE ON OKOWA, OTHERS



The leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, in Aniocha North Local Government Area has passed a vote of confidence on Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa and the Delta state PDP hierarchy.
 In a statement signed by the executive of the PDP Aniocha North, the vote of confidence was moved In an enlarged meeting of the PDP Members and Local Government Executive at the Aniocha North Local Government Area Secretariat Issele-Uku Delta State on 13th February, 2018.
  Also passed, was a vote of confidence on Barr. Kingsley Esiso, PDP Chairman Delta State, Chief Moses Iduh, Delta North Senatorial District Chairman, Prince Victor Egbune, PDP Chairman Aniocha North.
 According to the statement, The confidence vote was sequel to the mature and peaceful conduct of the just concluded Local Government Elections across the state.
"We express our optimism that there will be a repeat of this feat come 2019 General Elections.
We debunk the rumoured crack in the administrative wall of the Peoples Democratic Party in Aniocha North Local Government Council Area. It is a mere figment of their imagination. We allay the fears of any form of victimization of members, because the PDP is a peaceful family and fully rebranded"

Resumption Date For Primary And Secondary Schools In Delta State

  It is hereby announced for the information of the General Public, particularly Deltans that the State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, has fixed Sunday, September 10, 2017, as the resumption date for pupils and students in public and private Primary and Secondary schools in the State for the 2017/2018 Academic Section. Academic activities begin on Monday September 11, 2017. Accordingly, the State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education has by this announcement advised parents and guardians to ensure that pupils and students return to school on the said date. It is stressed that students in boarding schools must return to school on Sunday September 10, 2017 as normal class activities will commence the next day. RIP KIDNAPPED DPO. HE FOUGHT FOR SECURITY OF LIVES AND PROPERTIES OF NIGERIANS. A CREDIT TO HUMANITY

ASABA THE Divisional Police Officer, DPO in charge of the ‘C’ Division, Asaba, SP Valentine Mbalu has been reportedly killed by his abductors 12 days after he was taken hostage by suspected Fulani herdsmen between Ekwoma and Umunede along the Benin/Asaba/Onitsha expressway. Recall that the unsuspecting Police Officer was abducted at about 4pm on the 5th of this month on his way to Asaba after spending weekend with his family at Agbor. A reliable source who spoke on condition of anonymity, said that the decomposing corpse of the DPO was found in Umunede bush yesterday. He disclosed that one of the suspected kidnappers, a native of Fulani who sells water Mellon at Abraka within the Asaba metropolis has been arrested. It would be recalled that the decomposing body of the king of Ubulu-Uku, HRM Edward Akaeze Ofulue III who was kidnapped by suspected Fulani herdsmen sometimes in January 2016 was also found in Umunede bush days after his abduction.
